Our certified organic 100% Ibérico pigs are raised on small family-owned farms, where the land is free of pesticides and herbicides. From birth to harvest, they are cared for with the highest ethical standards: raised humanely, allowed to roam freely, and never given antibiotics or added hormones.
Jamón de Bellota 100% Ibérico comes from the prized pata negra pig, known for grazing naturally on acorns in the pasturelands of Western Spain. During the Montanera season (October through February), these free-roaming pigs naturally double their weight by eating acorns, producing what is considered the most extraordinary and sought-after meat in the world.
Each ham is cured for 36 months using traditional artisanal methods in La Alberca, Spain, a protected Natural Reserve and UNESCO World Heritage site.
No antibiotics. No added hormones. Raised on pasture. Never confined in gestation or farrowing crates.
